Certain benefits programs may be subject to medical underwriting and insurance carrier approval. Segment will provide the following employee benefits, subject to acceptance by the provider(s).

Medical & Dental Insurance

  • Providers: Irish Life Health (Medical) & DeCare Dental
  • Irish Life Health Plan 4D Health 5 Provides coverage (depending on the situation) for public and private hospitals ranging from partial coverage to full coverage (see plan documents for table of benefits), In-patient and out-patient hospital coverage, and coverage for day-to-day medical expenses, e.g. general practitioner and consultants visits and a choice of 4 personalised package add-ons included to tailor your plan to your needs (see plan documents for table of benefits)
  • DeCare Dental Teamcare Level 3+ Provides coverage (depending on the situation) see plan table of cover.

Ling-Term Disability (Income Protection)

  • Provider: Irish Life Assurance plc
  • 75% of base salary less an amount equal to the State Disability Benefit payable to a single person
  • Benefit payable following a 26-week deferral period
  • The amount of the benefit will increase at a rate of 3% per annum, subject to a Consumer Price Index (CPI) Increase cap, if lower.

Death-In-Service Benefit (Life Assurance) 

  • Provider: Irish Life Assurance plc
  • Four times annual base salary
  • Cover up to age 65 while you remain employed with Segment

Personal Retirement Savings Account (PRSA) 

  • Provider: Irish Life Assurance plc
  • Individual, Employee Owned Pension Plan – employee contributions made through payroll salary deduction
  • Age based tax relief on contributions from 15%-40% of annual salary
  • Employee has control of investment choices and can avail of a default lifestyle strategy
